Abstract:
The trial trenching revealed part of a possible Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age to early Middle Iron Age pit alignment. Several ditches, possibly of Roman or medieval date and underlying a ridge and furrow landscape identified from geophysical survey and aerial photography, were recorded. Some Iron Age pottery and a small flint flake were found in two of the ditches. [Au(adp)]
