Abstract:		 This geophysical survey was undertaken as part of an archaeological field evaluation of an area of land being considered for development as a solar farm at Sharland Farm near Crediton, Devon. The survey has detected strong magnetic disturbances across parts of the site, but the distribution of this activity reflects the topography, indicating it must be of mainly natural origin. Identifiable findings are otherwise limited to former field boundaries and cultivation effects, together with some possible land drains or former drainage channels.
