Abstract:		 MOLA Northampton was commissioned to carry out a detailed magnetometer survey of Blackbird Road Playing Fields, Beaumont Leys, Leicester. The survey identified two possible ditches, an undated pond and slight traces of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. A variety of modern features, many relating to use of the area as a playing field, were also identified.
