Abstract:		 MOLA Northampton was commissioned to carry out an evaluation on land at Leicester Road, Uppingham, Rutland. Fourteen trenches were excavated; three had features of archaeological interest, which included a pit alignment and a ditch dating to the middle to late Iron Age. Three trenches contained a post-medieval to modern field boundary ditch and eight contained the remnant furrows of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation.
