Abstract:		 Despite the site's close proximity to substantial medieval stone footings recorded c.100m to the north (site WKB 010), no archaeological remains of this period or earlier were revealed in the trial trenches. The only archaeological feature encountered was a single north to south running ditch seen in the south-west corner of the site which is likely to be of post-medieval or modern date.
