Abstract:		 MOLA Northampton carried out a trial trench evaluation at Bucknall Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent. Both trenches contained made ground and in one trench there was a brick floor of the former farmhouse, demolished in the early 20th century. These deposits were dated to the 19th to early 20th centuries, although there is also a little pottery indicating that there was activity here in the later 17th to early 18th centuries. There were no earlier deposits or finds.
