Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 5.1 hectares of grassland. The survey has not identified any anomalies of probable archaeological origin. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have been detected, however these could equally be of modern or natural origin. Ridge and furrow cultivation can be seen across the site, suggesting the area has been used for agricultural practices since the medieval period. The remaining anomalies are of natural or modern origin, relating to agricultural activity, ferrous objects and fencing. |
