Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 12.8 hectares of mixed arable and grassland. The survey has not identified any probable archaeology. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have been identified, however these could equally be of agricultural or natural origin. The presence of a post-medieval field boundary suggests that the recent history of the site is mostly agricultural. The remaining anomalies are natural or modern in origin, relating to an underground service, land drains, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
