Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was carried out at the Greenwell Road car park in Alnwick, Northumberland during an emergency sewer repair. A trench measuring 1.5 x 3m was excavated to a depth of 4m where the collapsed sewer was located. There were no archaeological finds or features encountered during the watching brief.
