The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeological evaluation was carried out on unoccupied land on the west bank of the River Stort. A single trench was excavated within the footprint of the proposed dwelling. No archaeological deposits or features were recorded. Natural alluvial clay silt was revealed at 1.2m below ground level at the south end of the trench. The material above consisted of a sequence of modern dumps designed to raise the level of the ground above the flood level of the adjacent river.
