Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was mounted on the groundworks pertaining to the construction of new poultry units and feed silos. An initial phase of limited ground reduction within the new build areas of the poultry units and feed silos located a small assemblage of finds of medieval and post-medieval date including pottery and roof tile fragments. This was followed by the monitoring of the excavation of the foundations for the poultry units and feed silos, which did not identify any archaeological activity at the site. |
