Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken prior t the construction of a new residential dwelling. The site lies within the medieval and post-medieval settlement and Roman finds have been made nearby. The archaeological evaluation did not identify any archaeological activity or finds. A simple deposit comprising a topsoil horizon, an undated buried soil or ploughsoil horizon and a naturalhorizon was identified.
