Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 14 hectares of grassland at Cosby, Leicestershire. The survey revealed several probable archaeological features of potential prehistoric age and two possible archaeological pits. Ridge and furrow was present in the majority of the survey area and a former trackway is present in the south east corner. The remaining anomalies are all modern in origin and include ploughing, fence lines, land drains, magnetic disturbance and scattered debris.. |
