Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over 5.7 hectares of grassland at Eckington, Worcestershire. The data shows a number of sub-circular and point anomalies which are of probable archaeological origin. Their form is indicative of Prehistoric features. A small number of weaker linear features are of possible archaeological origin, although these equally could be agricultural. A modern service runs through the centre of the site, and the remaining features are of modern origin caused by disturbed ground, and magnetic debris. |
