Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief and building recording found various stone structures: a set of steps, a stone wall and a stone floor were all present and appeared to all be of post-medieval date. The limited finds were porcelain, suggesting a 19th century date at least for some of the features, which may have been part of the same structure: the wall and floor surface associated with one another and the stone steps accessing the upper floors.
