Abstract:
An intermittent archaeological watching brief was maintained on the site of a new petrol filling station in an area of known medieval settlement activity. Overall, the site yielded significant information concerning later medieval development at Boston and raised important questions regarding the expansion of the town in areas where previous assessments had revealed very little by way of medieval settlement remains.
