An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of three detached dwellings on land fronting Long Street. Significant archaeological deposits dating to the Late Saxon, medieval and Tudor periods were exposed and recorded. Archaeological deposits on and around the site appeared to be well preserved. [Au]
