Abstract:		 <summary>Desk-based assessment of areas likely to be adversely affected by the construction of a new junction and the widening of the M1 motorway identified 15 areas of archaeological potential. These comprised six uninterpreted and undated crop mark sites and nine areas of alluvial deposits under which archaeological deposits may have been preserved.
