Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	<summary>Desk-based assessment was undertaken for an area affected by operations associated with the construction of a bridge abutment for the Second Severn Crossing. The area was found to contain features of a relict medieval/post-medieval agricultural landscape (including areas of ridge and furrow), as well as the Binn Wall, a sea-defence of imprecise date.
