Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of a proposed development. The evaluation revealed evidence for a possible Late Neolithic or Bronze Age ring ditch, two prehistoric or Roman enclosures and two possible Anglo-Saxon Sunken Feature Buildings, as well as some undated ditches. The enclosures seemed likely to have surrounded small settlements associated with a field system represented by the undated ditches. [Au(adp)]
