Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed signs of the one-time presence of structures or buildings in clay and timber of the Late Iron Age and early Roman period, apparently terraced into the gentle slope. The environmental evidence was for the survival of important and well preserved faunal and floral remains, including animal bone and well dated groups of molluscan food debris and cereal remains.
