The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring and an artefact collection survey were commissioned by Chichester Harbour Conservancy Board during works to strengthen sea defences on the west side of Fishbourne Channel. The proximity of a previously discovered complex of Roman buildings was the reason for the commission. Finds recovered during the fieldwalking demonstrated that the area of Roman occupation was larger than that previously recognised. Unrecognisable features were also seen in the side of a lagoon excavated during the works. [AIP]
