Abstract: |
An earthwork survey was commisioned by North Yorkshire County Council for a site which was due to be the location of a new school building. The area, which was then playing fields, contained visible medieval ploughing evidence in the form of ridge and furrow. An evaluation trench was also located above the ridge and furrow although no archaeological deposits or artefacts were discovered. [AIP] |
