Abstract: |
Five trenches were excavated, one of which was abandoned when a further service was uncovered. Topsoil overlay mixed subsoil, which in turn overlay an olive green relatively stone-less clay. No finds or features of archaeological significance were recorded. A modern pig burial was uncovered in Trench 1 which crossed the centre of the site. [Au(abr)] |
