Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in January 2017 at Kernick Park, Penryn, Cornwall. Eighteen trenches were excavated. The evaluation identified a concentration of ditches and pits in the south-eastern part of the site, as well as a single outlying ditch. No dating evidence was recovered and there were no clear indications of function. It is possible that the features recorded by the evaluation are associated with Iron Age and Roman activity recorded during previous works to the east of the evaluation site, although this association cannot be proven. |
