Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological works was required by Mr Graham Haig in support of the Conversion and Extension of Existing Bothies and Associated Storage to One Dwellinghouse and Change of use from Agricultural Land to Garden Ground at Pitairlie Farm, Newbigging, DD5 3PY (NGR: NO 50220 36717) (Planning App: 15/00874/FULL). The archaeological works are designed to mitigate the impact on any archaeological remains within the development area to the agreement of Aberdeenshire Council Archaeology Service (ACAS) who advise Angus Council on archaeological maters. Rathmell Archaeology Limited has been appointed by Mr Graham Haig to undertake the development and implementation of archaeological mitigation works.
