Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 10 hectares of grassland. The survey identified former field boundaries and areas of ridge and furrow cultivation as the only probable archaeology on the site. Two possible pit features have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of geological or modern origin, relating to former ponds, an air shaft, an underground service, scattered magnetic debris, ferrous objects and fencing. |
