Abstract:		 MOLA Northampton carried out building recording of the Chalton and Houghton Regis Overbridges, prior to their demolition. The bridges are original unchanged structures surviving from the 1958-9 construction of the M1. They have undergone a few changes that include the addition of metal grills and crash barriers and pavement, and some maintenance that are apparent in patches.
