Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on 20 may 2017 during the soil strip for an extension to a workshop at Kingsmills, Elgin. Three sandstone walls and foundations of a building were uncovered and recorded. They are the remains of the King's Mill building constructed between the dates of the 1st and 2nd Edition OS maps (Illus 6-7). The building has been infilled with clinker and rubble. No other archaeological features or finds were recovered |
