Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief undertaken during the redevelopment of sports pitches on land east of the A24, west of Horsham, West Sussex. Excavation in the NW of the pitch area revealed part of a probable enclosure ditch and another, more substantial bounday ditch running NW-SE. Substantial parts of the SE of the development area were being made up to level football pitch, resulting in no impact to archaeological remains, and hence no features observed.
