Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks and construction for a residential development. Five boundary or drainage ditches of probable medieval date were uncovered. They matched the orientation of the historic field pattern. An assemblage of medieval pottery, dating to the 12th to 13th centuries, was recovered from the base of one of the ditches. |
