The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Wessex Archaeology carried out an evaluation in support of an application for planning permission for redevelopment. It was intended that five trenches should be excavated but, because of dense vegetation and health and safety considerations, only two, trenches 4 and 5, in the western part of the site, were opened. No significant archaeological features were recorded but some large pits were recorded in both trenches. Sample excavation showed them to contain post-medieval ceramics, clay pipe, glass, slate and brick.
