Abstract:		 In May 2014 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out an archaeological evaluation at the Garage Site, Francis Road, Ware, Herts SG12 9HA. The evaluation was related to the demolition of garages and replacement with housing. The evaluation revealed a pit which contained mid 15th - 16th/early 17th century pottery and other finds. The pit cut an undated pit.
