Abstract: |
Natural brickearth was observed. Three brick soakaways and several deposits and features relating to 19th century gardening were seen. Brick walls belonging to a domestic building with an industrial building to its north were recorded. Both are first shown on the 1875 OS map. Modern bricks show that the domestic building was modernised during the mid-20th century. Both buildings remained into the 1960s but had been demolished by 1975. |
