Abstract:		 An Archaeological Watching Brief was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited at 4 Spring Terrace, in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. The Watching Brief monitored the excavation of the location a basement extension to the rear of the property. The Watching Brief was maintained until the surface of the Kempton Park Gravels were encountered, beyond which no deposits or features of archaeological interested would be expected. No archaeological features were encountered during the Watching Brief. An intact deposit sequence was observed to have survived within the area subject to excavation for the construction of the new basement, though no archaeological features or evidence pre-dating the late post-medieval period were observed
