Abstract: |
An Archaeological Investigation (Watching Brief) was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd on the recently cleared rear-garden site at Corinth House, Warren Road, Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames, KT2 7HN. The archaeological investigation was conducted in advance of the proposed development of the site. The investigation monitored the removal of a recently laid pile mat and the stripping of the surviving sub-soil down to the top of natural deposits. Un-truncated natural deposits of sandy gravels, identified as part of the Black Park Gravel member, were encountered in the base of the striped area. No archaeological finds or features from any period were encountered during this investigation. |
