Abstract:		 Three test pits were examined corresponding to the location for concrete footing from a proposed outfall pipe. The archaeological works took place on a steep bank on the shore immediately to the north-west of Culzean Castle. No archaeologically significant deposits and no in-situ structural remains were uncovered during the course of this work. No archaeologically significant anthropic material was recovered.
