Abstract: |
A watching brief was kept on 13 March 2015 during excavations for a new hydro-electric on the Keltie Water to the N of Callander. Trenching across a putative boundary bank at NN 64120 13422 demonstrated that this feature comprised the upcast from an adjacent ditch while a linear ditch-like feature at NN 63983 13467 proved to be the course of a former access track to a nearby reservoir. The remains of a drystone dyke at NN 64145 13112 were avoided during this exercise. |
