Abstract: |
In February 2015 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out an archaeological evaluation and investigation via 'strip, map and record' at The Henry Moore Foundation, Dane Tree House, Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire. The site lies within the rural area of Perry Green and comprises the existing buildings, grounds, sculpture garden displays and access/parking areas of the Foundation. The investigations involved three evaluation trenches within the footprints of planned extensions to Dane Tree House and Elmwood, and a 'strip, map and record' exercise on a car park improvement SE of the Hoops Inn. No archaeological features or finds were recorded. |
