Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in July 2014 on land off Upton Snodsbury Road, Pinvin, Worcestershire. A total of seven trenches were excavated. An undated ditch and three undated gullies were observed in Trenches 1 and 7. Two post-medieval boundary ditches, a drainage gully and evidence of ridge and furrow all, conforming to the same north/south alignment, provided further evidence that the site previously lay in the agricultural hinterland of the village of Pinvin. |
