Abstract:		 Wardell Armstrong Archaeology were commissioned by Taylor Wimpey West Midlands to undertake an archaeological evaluation at the land west of Old Worcester Road, Hartlebury, Worcestershire (NGR: SO 8444 7058) ahead of development into domestic properties for which a planning application has been accepted by Wychavon District Council. Three undated pit/postholes were revealed that were stratigraphically later than a post 1973 landscaping event along a former field boundary. Other than this no other archaeologically significant features were revealed although it was noted that up to 1.60m of colluvium was present in the west and north of the site.
