Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 3.5 hectares of grassland. The survey identified two areas of ridge and furrow cultivation as the only probable archaeological anomalies on the site. A number of possible archaeological anomalies have been identified; however the majority of these are likely to be of geological origin. The remaining anomalies are of modern origin, relating to agricultural activity, a former footpath, scattered magnetic debris, an underground service and fencing. |
