Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited in March 2015 on land at Hayes Court, West Common Road, London Borough of Bromley. The work was designed as a mitigation phase to investigate and record any archaeological remains which were to impacted by the development groundworks to the north of Hayes Court. The work followed an evaluation by PCA in January 2015. The watching brief revealed some localised undated archaeological remains at the surface of the natural geology and subsoil, stratigraphically overlain by buried soil horizons and made ground associated with the construction of Hayes Court in the 18th century. No deposits, features or artefacts of definitive prehistoric, Roman, early medieval or medieval date were found during the work.
