Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over 5.6 hectares of grass farmland. Ridge and furrow is the only probable archaeology identified on the site. A collection of possible cut features, along with possible bank or earthwork features are present mainly in the east of the survey area. Areas of magnetic debris are also present. These may be medieval earthworks related to the adjacent Scheduled Ancient Monument. The remaining features are modern in origin and include scattered magnetic debris and rubbish, and associated magnetic disturbance. |
