Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was carried out by CFA Archaeology on land at Scalesceugh Hall, Carleton, Carlisle during March 2016. Three trenches were excavated across the site in order to evaluate any potential surviving archaeological remains. The trenches proved blank of any surviving features with heavy landscaping/terracing of the area apparent.
