Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was mainitained during two visits to East Street, Shoreham-By-Sea during pedestrianisation of the road. No significant archaeological deposits were recorded, although a small assemblage of artefacts (mostly post-medieval in date) were recovered from the made ground observed below the old road surface and associated levelling deposits.
