Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Headland Archaeology in July 2014 on land at Lotmead Farm, Swindon, Wiltshire. A total of 41 trenches were excavated in seven areas. Evidence for Romano-British activity (ditches, pits and an isolated burial) were identified within the southern part of the site. Undated features were identified in the north-west and the north-east of the site. No archaeologically significant finds or features were identified within the northern and the eastern part of the site. |
