Abstract: |
Addyman Archaeology undertook an archaeological watching brief and historic building recording at Dalmeny Church Hall, South Queensferry in January 2017. The works were required as part of alteration works to the hall. A watching brief was maintained throughout ground-breaking and down-taking works, which revealed buried soils of the late 18th to early 20th century and services related to the Hall. Building recording noted several modifications of the existing fabric, including a possible remnant of the original early 18th century range. |
