Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2 hectares of pasture in Altarnun, Cornwall. A number of probable former field boundaries along with ridge and furrow suggest a past agricultural landscape. Three features are of possible archaeological origin but could also be agricultural features. The remaining features are all modern in origin and include agricultural activity, magnetic disturbance associated with nearby ferrous objects, and various scattered magnetic debris. |
