Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over 5.8 hectares of pasture land at Kirtlington, Oxfordshire. Two field boundaries are the only probable archaeology on the site. A pair of linears represent possible archaeological cut features but could be agricultural or natural in origin. A large amount of natural variation is present and is thought to be evidence of periglacial cracking or geological fracturing. The remaining features are modern and include agricultural marks, magnetic disturbance and scattered debris. |
